We need volunteers to act as marshalls around the course making sure participants dont go the wrong way. It is an easy job but one that is crucial to the success of the event. Its a wonderful celebration of able bodied people coming together with those with a disability.
for Riding for the Disabled Association- Tall Timbers - Disability Services
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre Equine programs by participating in tasks as directed by the Coach. Equine program assistants have a primary role to support RDA Coaches for sessions.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by assisting with horse preparation, leading of horses in program sessions, assistance with life skills/groundwork sessions and assisting in the pack up and return of horses to the paddock.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by being first point of contact for all visitors as well as assisting with volunteer engagement and retention.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by assisting with overall cleaning and organising of the main building, both internal & external.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by assisting with light gardening duties on the property. - This role is not as physically demanding as property maintenance volunteers and may be suitable to someone with physical issues which require minimal lifting or carrying of heavy items.
