Diabetes Victoria is holding a diabetes education event for the Vietnamese community on May 28, and looking for Vietnamese speaking volunteers to provide in-language support to attendees. We have 4 volunteer roles available. Responsibilities include assisting with promotion prior to the event, set-up/ pack-down of the event, supporting attendees on the day, and ensuring the event goes smoothly.

Assist visitors and outpatients get to their destination within the hospital, both by giving directions or walking with them. Lots of people contact and a great opportunity to help people.

Do you have a friendly and caring manner? Like working in a fast-paced environment? Join our ED Volunteer Team to help reduce patients, their families, and carers' anxiety while they are in the ED waiting room for treatment.

Help us make a difference... We are looking for ten new volunteers to provide beverages and social support to patients who are waiting to attend appointments at the Wellington clinics.

Our Reception Concierge Support Volunteers are the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. They work with our client services staff to welcome community members and make sure they have everything they need to make their reception and appointment waiting time as comfortable as possible.

Mercy Hospital for Women is a major public hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing midwifery and allied health expertise to provide complex care for obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological needs. The Volunteer Concierge will welcome patients to Level 3 and provide direction to various outpatient clinics and departments.
