The Green Connect Farm is the largest urban farm in the southern hemisphere and is an organic farm growing selling fair food to the Illawarra community. We have opportunities to come and volunteer with us three days a week and be part of our friendly team.

We need an enthusiastic and caring volunteer who can run a kiosk (small shop) inside the MiCare Aged Care Facility in Carrum Downs that offer the basic necessities and the Dutch food stuff mostly to our nice residents, families and friends. This position needs to be 15 minutes earlier there for setting up the shop sign and 15 minutes later leaving for packing up. No need experience.

Our Social Centre volunteers work alongside our staff in social centres to provide a supportive place for older Australians to connect with others and engage in activities that look after their health and wellbeing. You will help to organise meaningful activities for our clients, such as music, arts, and craft sessions; gardening, and social outings in the community. MiCare Aged Care and the Retirement village in Carrum Downs is looking for a friendly individual to contribute as a volunteer at our shop. Our small shop is designed for our Aged Care residents, families, visitors and friends providing a cosy environment for them to buy the things in need close to their homes, or when they come to visit their love ones. We sell some Dutch foods and products as well.

ECOSS thrives on the wonderful input from our Volunteers. It would be very difficult for ECOSS to develop and progress the way we do without our Volunteers. From working in the nursery and in our gardens. including the Community Garden, helping with our projects and events to helping in the office, our volunteers give a large amount of time. We value your skills and would love to create opportunities that interest you. We like to provide co-learning opportunities for skill sharing.

We’re looking for volunteers to help us build a fence to protect the livestock, soil and future of our working community farm. Spend the afternoon with skilled Farm staff in the Stables Paddock learning practical fencing skills and making a long-term contribution to Collingwood Children’s Farm.
