Central Coast Wetlands is a multi-purpose nature space on Crown Land. You will be working to improve the site that was previously used for agriculture and aim to improve the habitat for native flora and fauna species. As a volunteer tree planter, you help with tasks such as planting native trees and shrubs ***This opportunity comes to you via Volunteering Central Coast, the volunteering resource centre for the Central Coast***

We are a Community Centre located in Camberwell and require some one to decorate and theme our foyer and childcare rooms four times a year.

Help in a variety of tasks such as planting, nestbox monitoring, fencing, weed control and anything else that helps maintain the walking trails! Enjoy the outdoors and fresh air, either on weekdays or other times depending on current projects.

Want hands-on work that actually helps the environment? We grow local native (indigenous) plants from seed or cuttings for revegetation projects or local gardens. Our retail area is open to the public for plant sales. More indigenous plants in gardens and larger revegetation projects provide habitat for native animals, birds and insects, and reduce species loss. We rely on volunteers but lockdowns hit us hard. Please help us get back to the thriving nursery from before the pandemic!

Want to do hands-on work that actually helps the environment? Our nursery grows indigenous plants for revegetation projects and local gardeners. This increases habitat for our wildlife and helps biodiversity. We'd love you to join us to help with maintenance tasks around the nursery and maintaining our facilities. Work at a time or frequency that suits you! We're a very friendly group and morning tea/coffee is provided!

Tasks may include: manual weed removal, maintenance and repairs to tracks and other infrastructure, revegetation/tree planting, rubbish collection, recording of wildlife sightings, and more.
