Make a new friend and be part of something great - the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Seniors are particularly vulnerable to becoming socially isolated, especially if they don't have any family around. Our volunteers play an important part in keeping them connected with regular visits. If you like to chat and are willing to spend time with a senior in their home, then we'd love to hear from you.
Be part of something great as a volunteer visitor, providing friendship and companionship to isolated older people visiting them at home or going on outings, as part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). One hour per week or fortnight, is all it takes to brighten someone's day as well as your own.
