A Day Centre providing social activities and and contact for older people who have intellectual, physical and psychiatric disabilities requires volunteers to offer companionship to the consumers and assist with various activities.

For many MOW recipients, the volunteer is the only person they see that day, so the service also plays a vital role in social connection and monitoring wellbeing of older people. Work with a supportive team and develop your skills. You will undertake general reception duties and provide administrative support including answering the phone, taking enquiries, customer service, and general computer use. You should have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office and internet usage, though training can be provided. Good phone manner is essential, along with a willingness to learn and follow instructions. Discretion and confidentiality are essential to this role.

We are seeking volunteers to assist with social media management, brochure, newsletter, and website content creation. This is an opportunity to gain experience with a national brand for someone who is currently studying or has recently completed a diploma or degree in communications/graphic design/marketing/photography.

As a Toy Librarian you will be required to oversee the borrowing and returning of toys, ensuring they are maintained in good condition and working order e.g. cleaning, changing batteries etc and assisting with the general 'smooth running' of the Library.
