The Youth Advocacy Group provides an overview of actions in support of young people residing in the City of Whittlesea. The group is youth-led and leads a range of topics pertaining to youth and advocates for issues to be addressed. Your ability and willingness to help this community organisation maintain their halls and premises will be highly valued in this role. We are seeking volunteers to assist with handling donated goods in preparation for sales of low cost items to the general community. This involves sorting, pricing and customer service with general cleaning.

Each Saturday from 12:30pm-1:30pm four dedicated volunteers help to pack down all the public seating, marquees and infrastructure that is used in the public spaces at the market. These areas are what sets our beautiful market apart from other markets, and gives us our true community feel. This role requires a moderate amount of manual handling including bending, lifting and moving marquee weights (up to 20kg)
