Wildlife Welfare Organisation is a volunteer based, not for profit organisation providing a free 24/7 community service committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife on the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula. We are currently needing wildlife rescue ambulance drivers to transport injured and orphaned wildlife to and from our rescue centre and treatment locations.

Be the face and voice of DoggieRescue! Greet our doggie walkers, answer the phone, sell items in the shop, receive donations, and generally tell people about us and the great work we do! Be part of an essential team that rescues animals from death row in pounds around NSW. This is an active role - you'll get your 10000 steps up! its noisy, its busy but its a lot of fun! Training and support provided. We are currently looking for volunteers to help on weekends 10am - 2pm or 11am - 3pm

Would you like to be Christies Sailing Clubs next Rescue Boat Officer? Do you have recent and relevant experience in boat handling? If you said yes...then please read on... Races take place on Saturday afternoons at Christies Beach during the summer season (October to April) and four Sundays during the winter season (May to September). The rescue boat is launched at the O'Sullivan Beach Marina, and is manned by two qualified volunteers.

Volunteers form a team to respond to emergencies metro and across the state to provide meals and beverages to first responders across a number of agencies who attend emergency call-outs. Happy multi-generational team to work with. Flexibility to choose to respond to call-out dependent on own availability. Learn new skills. Support community, volunteer with purpose and value.
