They participate in committees, focus groups, projects and a range of other activities to ensure the patient perspective is always considered. The group is youth-led and leads a range of topics pertaining to youth and advocates for issues to be addressed. This opportunity gives young people autonomy and leadership to voice and work towards the changes they’d like to see in their communities.

Interchange is a program within UMFC’s Carer Aged and Disability Service and provides support to children and young people with disability and their families/carers. Interchange is supported by volunteers to create social and recreational opportunities through group and individual activities.Volunteer Host carers provide a very special opportunity to support and enhance the life of a young person with a disability, their family and primary carers.
