Interchange is supported by volunteers to create social and recreational opportunities through group and individual activities. Our Technical Volunteer designs, makes or modifies aids and equipment for people with a disability or the frail aged when there is no commercial solution available. Volunteers undertake project work in their own homes and sheds using their own tools. This volunteering opportunity is also perfect for retired or still working trades people, engineers or those who simply like to tinker and invent at home.

As a volunteer walking buddy, you will be helping a blind and hearing impaired male get out of the house, reintroduce more physical activity into his life and feel socially connected. Flexible with days and 1 hour time commitment per week.

The Department for Child Protection Volunteer Driver would transport children and young people to and from family contact, appointments and may also assist with learner driver training. Some out of hours, long distance and overnight travel may be required.
