We are looking for outgoing and friendly people to join our Brisbane Relay For Life Committee.

Diabetes Victoria is holding a diabetes education event for the Vietnamese community on May 28, and looking for Vietnamese speaking volunteers to provide in-language support to attendees. We have 4 volunteer roles available. Responsibilities include assisting with promotion prior to the event, set-up/ pack-down of the event, supporting attendees on the day, and ensuring the event goes smoothly.

Volunteers are needed to help the Disabled Surfers Association "Let's Go Surfing Days". Volunteers will be helping in the water, standing on each side when the surfer comes surfing into the shore, clapping and encouraging as well as guiding them to stay in (need many people to do this). This is a great role for those that would enjoy representing Guide Dogs Tasmania by being face to face with our amazing supporters at events. Various duties include providing information about our vital programs and services, accurately recording sales of merchandise, donations and donor details, cash handling, retail skills, and additional optional opportunities for pubic speaking and presenting.

Interested in music? Don’t mind a crowd? We have a fun, fast-paced role for you. Our monthly Saturday night disco is an event that provides an opportunity for people with disabilities to socialise and course- dance! Professional DJ music and light show included! We need an energetic, helpful volunteer who can assist with setting up, running of the disco activities on the night as well as a quick pack up and clean when finished.
