Our Social Support Program is designed to enhance a participant's independence by promoting physical activity, cognitive stimulation, good nutrition, emotional well-being, and social stimulation.

Volunteers required in our dementia specific Activity Centre's. Key duties can include the following, assisting our Activity Officers with activities, assistance with preparing meals, serving of meals, general kitchen duties, becoming a bus host on our Community Transport bus, which would involve transporting clients to and from Centre. Join us as a Walking Group Volunteer at Warrigal Queanbeyan! We’re seeking enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to assist residents to walk in the gardens and enjoy the great outdoors.

Agestrong is a group strength and balance program for older people that no longer feel confident to access mainstream classes. It is a supportive program run by trained leaders and supported by health professionals. The role of an Agestrong Volunteer is to assist the exercise leader to run a safe and supportive exercise program, create a welcoming atmosphere by being a friendly face and helping clients feel more supported in the group environment.

The Moorabbin Area Toy Library is a not-for-profit organisation which has been supporting local families with the tools for play for over 30 years. We are run by a dedicated and passionate volunteer committee and member volunteers. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to weekly or fortnightly shifts on Saturday mornings between 10am - 1pm. This could be for the full 3 hours or just a couple of hours.
