Activity Assistant/ Day Program/ Waratah Respite.
About this opportunity
Waratah Respite Services, Social Support day Program. The program is designed to enhance a participant's independence, by promoting physical activity, cognitive stimulation, good nutrition, emotional well-being, and social stimulation. Waratah Respite Services is extremely lucky to have the support of wonderful volunteers. You will be assisting our staff to provide social support activities and assist with morning tea and lunch. A free lunch is provided for volunteers.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Flu vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
A National Police Check will be conducted free of charge, you will need to bring 100 points Identification.
You will also have to bring along proof that you have had a flu vaccination this year. We will reimburse you for the cost of the vaccination.
Triple covid vaccination is required for this position.
Thursday and or Friday, 1 - 2 days a week 9am - 3.00pm hours can be negotiable. 15 hours a week for Centrelink volunteers can be arranged.
