Our retail area is open to the public for plant sales. More indigenous plants in gardens and larger revegetation projects provide habitat for native animals, birds and insects, and reduce species loss. We rely on volunteers but lockdowns hit us hard. The Department for Child Protection Volunteer Driver would transport children and young people to and from family contact, appointments and may also assist with learner driver training. Some out of hours, long distance and overnight travel may be required.

Several helping hands are needed to re-vegetate a weedy reserve for the return of local native vegetation. We require planters and weeders to continue our revegetation work in The Susannah Brook Reserve.

Our organisation runs out of a house on an acreage property and is subject to real estate inspection every three months. Additionally, our President is allergic to dust and can't let too much dust pile up or else she gets sick. We need help with this so that the facility is spotless for those inspections and also for visitors who expect that a wildlife hospital is always in pristine condition!!

We are presently in an urban setting and need to clean up the weeds, mow the lawn regularly and try to enhance the property with shrubs to bring some nature to this bland backyard.

Native wildlife needs your help. Rescue sick and injured birds, possums, lizards, turtles and frogs, and transport them to a vet for urgent assessment and treatment.

Come along to our Play and Learn Playgroup at Moorditj Kulungar Kwinana. This session provides learning through play opportunities and a safe space for children and families to connect. The Playgroup is for children aged 0 – 4 years led by our Aboriginal Resource Worker, we provide opportunities for Aboriginal families who visit us to learn about the first 3 years of a child’s life and prepare them for school.
