YPRL is seeking a new **Reading Dogs team** to join Thomastown Library. Our Reading Dogs program promotes children’s literacy by having children read aloud to dogs at the library. Our mission is to make reading fun and enjoyable for children so that they become confident and lifelong readers. Reading Dogs are accredited companion animals who volunteer with their owner/handler as a team by facilitating reading sessions. Would you like to be a Visitor Guide to watch for dolphins and assist in our Aquarium/Interaction Zone when the dolphins visit? We are looking for friendly people who smile a lot & enjoy chatting to our visitors, who are of a neat and tidy appearance and who are self motivated with a good work ethic and an eye for detail. You must be able to work as part of our team, but also to work without supervision and use initiative when required.

To lead horses during lessons for riders with disabilities. (No experience needed). Time Required - 8.30am-12.00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday

Pets of Older Persons (POOP's WA) is an incorporated non-profit association staffed entirely by volunteers. Our volunteers provide a range of services including home visits, animal feeding, dog walking and transport to/from vet clinics or boarding kennels. POOP's cater specifically for people over 65 years of age - or palliative-care patients of any age - who have no relatives or friends willing or able to take responsibility for their pets in times of need.

Tidy up of the cross country course includes mowing, painting, picking up of sticks, fence repairs and whipper snippering.
