Barnardos Australia is excited to announce our inaugural fundraising art show will be happening on Thursday the 16th of May. The theme of the show is 'Fearlessly Optimistic' which embodies the unrelenting passion of Barnardos. We are seeking volunteers to assist our Toy Library Session Co-ordinator with the running of Toy Library sessions during open hours. Positions available on Saturda 9:30am-11:30am or 11:30am- 1:30pm.

Fresh Start is a not-for-profit addiction and substance use disorder recovery program that is looking for 4 volunteers to help with food distribution (wait staff) at the End of Financial Year Fundraising Event “Raising for Recovery”. This event is to raise funds so Fresh Start can continue their work in supporting thousands of people and families in their addiction recovery journey and create awareness and a platform for advocacy.

Meals on Wheels (MOW) volunteers play an integral role transporting nutritious meals from a MOW meal provider to older people in our communities. For many MOW recipients, the volunteer is the only person they see that day, so the service also plays a vital role in social connection and monitoring wellbeing of older people. If you are a caring and compassionate individual with a vehicle, a drivers' licence, and a desire to help people, then we would love to hear from you!
