Outer East Foodshare collects donated, surplus and rescued food and delivers it to agencies in the Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne that help families in need. This role will take responsibility for designing, writing and uploading social media for Outer East Foodshare, in particular Facebook, Instagram and What’sApp to engage supporters, encourage donations, and to keep volunteers engaged.

As an Operating Theatre Recovery volunteer, you will work closely with staff to support the post-anaesthetic care of patients by providing comfort, as well as reconnecting and regulating caregiver visits. CUDL urgently requires cooks to prepare meals at home for distribution at our street kitchen in Whitmore Square in the city. Volunteers will prepare budget meals at home once a month for collection by one of our team of drivers. The Department for Child Protection Volunteer Driver would transport children and young people to and from family contact, appointments and may also assist with learner driver training. Some out of hours, long distance and overnight travel may be required.
