Homebase HOOPS is a 4-6 week (during school terms), evening basketball tournament for youth in the Mildura and surrounding region. Supported by local community organisations & volunteers. Homebase HOOPS is a fun, safe & supported activity for youth. The idea is not competitive, but to ensure everyone has an enjoyable night and gets a turn on court. Creativity is necessary in order to create a lunch menu using food items that are available in the foodbank during that week. Your work will offer comfort to those seeking asylum in this country.

Help unpack a food order and supervise the food bank at a learning centre in North Melbourne supporting migrant, refugee and asylum seeker women.

Play a vital role in the maintenance of the ASWC's Food Pantry service. The primary task is to ensure that the ASWC foodbank is replenished weekly, via driving trips to Foodbank and Secondbite, in order to provide for vulnerable people in the community.

Play an essential role in the management and maintenance of the Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre Food Relief Program. Support the consumers and staff of the Centre by: picking up and organising food and material donations; assisting consumers to choose food and material items from the ASWC food bank, contacting clients to confirm food relief appointments.

Cottage by the Sea (CBTS) is a charity supporting children in need for over 133 years. We are seeking volunteers who has a passion for cooking. A delicious lunch is provided by our resident chef and includes barista coffee with each shift.
