Are you interested in clinical and community based volunteer work? Are you over the age of 18 & physically fit? Volunteer with your local sub-centre as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer. Attend emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls as well as other duties as required. Commitment is approx 60 hours annually, based on 1 shift plus training per month. Marine Rescue NSW saves lives on the water, providing 24-hour emergency response, returning thousands of boaters in trouble safely to shore every year. Every unit requires a support crew. Become a member of our fundraising team and play an essential role in the day to day operations of our unit.

Do you like boats and sailing? This role involves collecting a 3.5M poly boat on a purpose-built aluminium trailer with an electric start 4-stroke motor and towing it 500 meters to a public boat ramp. Launch the boat with the help of club members, drive the boat out onto Throsby Creek and lay markers to create a sailing course. Return to shore and be on standby to collect distressed model boats if required. When racing has concluded, collect the buoys & return the boat to its original location.
