He/she is responsible for promoting the Society as an organisation of choice in regard to family history research and membership. The role also involves assisting with the set-up for the event, such as setting out chairs, laying out brochures, meeting guests and checking registration lists as guests arrive.

They provide guidance to members, visitors and those who call us to use the Society’s family history information resources. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering face-to-face events and virtual/hybrid events. In this role, you will be responsible for the ideation, development, and execution of a broad range of client and staff events, and you will also deliver these events.

The Regional Lead is responsible for the Regional Operations Team (ROT) but will be provided with support and assistance from the International Operations Team. The Regional Leads will be invited to participate on the IPT calls on a monthly basis to maintain communications between the IOT and ROT’s. Support from the various IOT teams i.e. volunteer management, marketing and communications will be provided as required. Regional Leads will also be able to access Operations Support.
