This position is appointed by the Board to fill a casual vacancy for a three year term, with the ability to seek reappointment for up to nine years. CoderDojo is a club (dojo) for young people aged 7-17 (ninjas) who have an interest in computer coding. The Mirrabooka CoderDojo is seeking a volunteer who is enthusiastic and enjoys helping young people, to present the program at the Mirrabooka Library on Wednesday from 4.00pm - 5.00pm pm during school term. As a CoderDojo volunteer, you will work directly with young participants to develop coding skills.

The brave solo refugee Mums who make SchoolKits for Congo also make beautiful buntings from bright African fabrics, and teach other Mums to do the same. We sell them in Australia and return the proceeds to the makers so that they can pay the school fees for their children to be educated. We are looking for stallholders who could add a product to their range, and for representatives who can show buntings to potential retailers and customers.

SchoolKits for Congo seek Student Advocates to invite their own school communities to engage in meaningful and rewarding global giving. Advocates will present the program to decision-makers, show them the positive impact that involvement can have on both givers and receivers, and connect them with the resources necessary to complete the first gift cycle. Advocates may also assist with local publicity for the event. Advocates may be current school students or recent graduates.
