The BRIGHT Walk 2024 takes place on Saturday 6 July from 4pm–9pm. 2500 people will walk through the CBD and North Adelaide, raising money for medical research at SAHMRI through sponsorships from friends and family.

The Gold Coast Hospital Foundation seeks volunteers to join staff, donors, corporates and the wider community to raise funds for vital medical equipment to aid the most vulnerable in our community.

2 volunteers required for on-day roles: assisting with setting up poolside, Registration check-in desk, Selling raffle tickets, collecting donations, and cheering on the swimmers. •Neat casual attire, enclosed non-slip footwear – you will be working in and around the Aquatic Centre pool. •Food and drink refreshments will be provided. •A briefing will take place on the day. •Knowledge of EFTPOS machine •Suitable for skilled volunteers, work experience, young adults. We are seeking volunteers to assist at the Gold Coast Memory Walk & Jog at Broadbeach on Sunday 4th June 2023 at 7am - 12noon. We need help with a range of roles: eg registration desk; t-shirt stall; Wayfinder. Equipment and orientation provided. Dementia Australia is the national peak body for people, of all ages, living with all forms of dementia, their families and carers. We provide advocacy, support services, education and information.
