Dedicate 4 hours a week from home, providing compassionate phone support to caregivers and the bereaved. Violet Guides deliver this support over the phone, at no cost to the carer. WAM empowers women who are in contact with the justice system to create positive change in their lives. We work with women who are experiencing disadvantage and criminalisation because of financial strain, family violence, social isolation, and homelessness. Through the power of a formal mentoring relationship with a screened and trained volunteer mentor, women can improve their self-esteem, develop their skills and abilities, and ultimately build their life away from the justice system.

Peplow House provides short-term crisis accommodation for single men aged 18 years and over who are homeless. Support is also provided to help individuals access longer term accommodation, and address issues that are impacting opportunities for longer term accommodation. Support worker is needed to provide assistance to the Peplow House staff. Administrative tasks, with the opportunity to go on visits to the cinema, parks, sports with the staff and residents.

You will be helping people to connect through regular conversations. We provide connection with other services like Centrelink, food services, housing, healthcare and counselling.

You will be helping people to connect through regular conversations, digital skills, setting up emails, MyGov accounts, help them with online shopping, possibly setting up their resumes, looking for work etc. You will also connect people with other services like Centrelink, food services, housing, healthcare and counselling.
