There are two positions available on Yogahood Australia’s governance Board. As a Board member, you will serve as a key leader and advisor for Yogahood Australia, a not-for-profit organisation focused on bringing yoga and mindfulness practices to communities and neighbourhoods in need. The Board members help to shape the strategic direction of the organisation, provide guidance on financial and operational matters, and help to build relationships with key stakeholders and partners.

The Sound Mentoring Program provides music mentorship to at-risk young people, helping them to achieve their potential as artists and human beings. Come and join us as mentor! We will provide you with training in mentorship and team you up with a mentee based on your existing skillset. Music mentoring is hugely fulfilling journey that can transform not just your life, but the life of a young person in need of confidence, positive role models and an outlet for their creativity.

Are you passionate about reducing loneliness and social isolation in your community? Are you new to Australia and missing your grandparents or parents? Would you like to build skills in developing a relationship with an older person, being empathetic and non-judging. Then apply to be one of our amazing volunteers! Visiting them at least once per fortnight you might play cards or games, go out for a drive or coffee, listen to music, enjoy a chat or reminisce about old times, or share interest
