Your basic sewing machine skills, or willingness to learn, will be useful in this role sewing wildlife rescue pouches and basket liners. Only straight line sewing, and patterns are cut along straight lines. All equipment is provided. Pouches and liners are sewn to specific sizes and designs and are given to local wildlife carers as needed. Timing is flexible - between 8am and 1pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We need a local with a suitable camera and editing software to produce a series of short videos for uploading to the net.
If you have a decent camera and like to record stuff, we need a local who is available on periodic short notice to come to our premises and photograph techniques and incoming animal cases. These are for future use on our website. We also receive requests from lots of people wanting photographs for their social media pages. Before our President can comply, the images need to be chosen, scanned and watermarked. It would be great if the photography co-ord has basic skills with Fireworks.

We have a range of exciting artefacts that have been recently donated and need to be photographed and uploaded to our museum collection. If you have your own photography equipment and are interested in supporting this project, please get in touch.
We are embarking on the digitisation of a large historical collection of photographs into the museum collection. This will involve organising, scanning and saving photographs from the archives, and carefully returning to archives. Get in touch if you would like to have a rare glimpse into history and a hand in making these memorial snapshots accessible to an international audience. This could be an ongoing opportunity.

Also suitable for Centrelink clients 60 to 65 years Worldwide ‘Precious Plastic Community’ finds ways to turn plastic lids into useful and beautiful plastic objects.Our philosophy is that discarded plastic is a precious resource, not waste. So far we have been able to create items such as plates, cups, bowls, plant pots, surfboard fins and wax combs but there is no limit to what can be created from discarded items.
