A general volunteer to care for our gardening tools. Maintenance and stock control of all the varied gardening tools on our Inventory. In the first instance we need someone to care for our hand tools, forks and spades etc, but in addition someone to care for our power tools, lawn mowers, line trimmers, hedge trimmers etc.

Attend emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls as well as other duties as required. Commitment is approx 60 hours annually, based on 1 shift plus training per month. To continue to operate in your role, you must maintain the competencies required & appropriate level of fitness as roles are physically demanding.

Community Nursery Assistants support the propagation of local provenance native plants for re-vegetation of the local environment within the City of Greater Geraldton. Many and varied tasks are available, depending on the time of season. Duties include seed collecting, seed sorting, decontaminating benches / pots, pricking plants and propagation.
