Our Cadet Program runs from April to October each year. It is open to kids between the age of 12 - 16. Cadets are trained in various facets of Firefighting and other skills. Teamwork and Communication are a big part of this program and we have had many of our Cadets stay on after turning 16 to become Active Volunteer Firefighters. The Carindale Toy Library is looking for enthusiastic volunteers that can help us out for 2 hours at least once a month. We are open every second Saturday, and one Monday a month, from 10:00 am till 12:00 pm. Our sessions are busy - we would love your help with checking in toys; returning toys; helping members borrow new toys and maintaining toys.
