We are seeking volunteers to Support and assist to young people

Australian Refugee Volunteers (ARV) is an entirely volunteer-run non-religious and apolitical organisation that runs exciting programs for children from asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds in Sydney. Our excursions are a mix of fun and developmental activities that give our clients skills and confidence whilst allowing them to just be kids for the day! Volunteers collect children, bring them together as a program group for the activity, and then drop them home at the end of the day.

Approved volunteers agree to provide mentoring and friendship to a young person between the ages of 7 and 17. They commit to spending quality time with a carefully selected young person from a vulnerable or disadvantaged background for approximately 2 hours per fortnight for a period of 12 months. You will not be sitting in an office all day but going out to meet mentees.

Joondalup Adventure Girl Guides are seeking women to become Girl Guide Leaders at their Unit. The Unit meets for just under 2 hours on Tuesday evenings from 4.45pm to 6.30pm and caters for girls between the ages of 7 and 11. Girl Guide leaders are role models that provide support to young girls to help them discover their potential as young leaders of their world. This is one of the most rewarding and fun volunteering jobs around!

Joondalup Harmony Girl Guides are seeking women to become Girl Guide Leaders at their Unit. The Unit meets for 1.5 hours on Monday evenings from 5.30pm to 7pm and caters for girls between the ages of 7 and 10. Girl Guide leaders are role models that provide support to young girls to help them discover their potential as young leaders of their world. This is one of the most rewarding and fun volunteering jobs around!

Quinns Rocks Rainbow Girl Guides are seeking women to become Leaders or Unit Helpers at their Guide Unit. The Unit meets for 1.5 hours on a Tuesday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm during the school term and caters for girls aged 7 to 9. Girl Guide leaders are role models that provide support to young girls to help them discover their potential as young leaders of their world. This is one of the most rewarding and fun volunteering jobs around!

Join us at Kedron Scouts and become a Scout Leader. It's the best unpaid role in the world! Multiple leadership positions are available. These include becoming a trained Scout Leader or assisting as a trained youth or adult helper. We have all sections of Scouting and our young people are aged 5-25.This is your opportunity for adventure and to gain new skills. Relevant training is supplied. Assistance is provided to apply for a Blue Card. Leaders -18 years and up. Youth helpers from 15 years.

As a Pyjama Angel , you will visit a child in foster care for 1 hour each week, to help with learning, life-skills and confidence. This one on one time has a profound impact on a child and also helps to support Foster Carers in your community. Over time, you will become a trusted mentor in your child's life, being a constant source of encouragement.
