Bethanie Joondanna Aged Care Home is seeking a volunteer for one-to-one visits and/or small group engagement with some of our male residents. Feeling lonely can cause Madge to become anxious so a companion who wants nothing more than a decent chat would help her a lot. If you have a spare hour or more any week day afternoon to spend with Madge, she would love to meet you. She doesn't mind keeping you company while you knit or crochet, she will be happy having your company.

Having no transport can stop them from doing the things they need to do, and leads to feelings of loneliness and isolation. If you enjoy driving, you can make a difference by helping with their transport needs to important medical appointments or social activities.
