Hi animal lovers! If you love your dog and want to share your time with the patients in the hospital, this position is for you! You must have own animal who is registered with an indemnified company and must be able to prove certification of training registration.

Pets of Older Persons (POOP's WA) is an incorporated non-profit association staffed entirely by volunteers. Our volunteers provide a range of services including home visits, animal feeding, dog walking and transport to/from vet clinics or boarding kennels. POOP's cater specifically for people over 65 years of age - or palliative-care patients of any age - who have no relatives or friends willing or able to take responsibility for their pets in times of need.

Tidy up of the cross country course includes mowing, painting, picking up of sticks, fence repairs and whipper snippering.

Our Puppy Raisers look after an 8 to 10 week old puppy, in their home, for a period of 6 to 12 months This requires a degree of physical fitness, which includes being able to negotiate steps, walk 3-5km per day and frequent bending and lifting (up to 20kg). Puppy Raisers expose our puppies to different environments including public transport, shopping centres etc.
