We are seeking someone happy to work with the community to develop a resource (printed brochure, poster, content for a web page) that summarises all the sustainable initiatives that are operating along Ashburton High St and surrounds. The native plant seed orchard aims to grow seed for revegetation on the farm site and to share knowledge and skills to be able to increase involvement of community members and make revegetation more accessible to community from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. in summer volunteers will collect and manage grassland seeds, in winter volunteers will be part of revegetation projects, in autumn volunteers will support the building and set-up of the native seed orchard.

This role will take responsibility for overseeing the deliveries and food collections including responsibility for food safety The role involves overseeing a team of volunteers who will pack, unpack food and may need to re-pack food into smaller units. Must also oversee the record keeping of volumes of food handled

Our station precincts require manicuring and some tender loving care to ensure that the parks and gardens look pristine for our local and international visitors.
