Homebase HOOPS is a 4-6 week (during school terms), evening basketball tournament for youth in the Mildura and surrounding region. Supported by local community organisations & volunteers. Homebase HOOPS is a fun, safe & supported activity for youth. The idea is not competitive, but to ensure everyone has an enjoyable night and gets a turn on court. The Girl Guide Victoria (GGV) Paddle Volunteer Team is responsible for providing safe and fun kayak & stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) lessons and activities to Guides of all ages. Volunteers will teach Guides the basics of kayaking & SUP, including how to paddle, turn, and stop. They will also lead Guides on kayak & sup adventures, such as exploring local bays, lakes, and rivers.
