Interchange is a program within UMFC’s Carer Aged and Disability Service and provides support to children and young people with disability and their families/carers. Interchange is supported by volunteers to create social and recreational opportunities through group and individual activities. Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. Therefore, we require a minimum commitment of 12 months and two to three hours per fortnight.

We are seeking a mentor! At genU we facilitate a Leadership Group to give voice to our clients living with disabilities. The group provides an opportunity for clients, to express their experiences, feedback, ideas, challenges and concerns about services and business practices. A volunteer is required to help upskill and mentor clients to participate in the group.
