SUPPORTING MEN, WOMEN & FAMILIES WHO ARE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS OR SOCIAL ISOLATION If you have two to three hours you can spare each week we would like to hear from you.

Help seniors learn to use technology. You will be a member of a supportive team of volunteers, all seniors themselves, offering training either one to one or in small classes using our well-equipped premises at Castle Hill. Training manuals and administrative support are provided.

As a HammondCare Life Story Writing Volunteer, your listening and writing skills will allow people who are living in our Residential Care Home at North Turramurra express precious aspects of their life. Your volunteer role is to capture, share, and record a person’s life stories, memories, and messages for loved ones. These biographies are then printed and presented to the Resident and/or resident’s family.

As one of our trained volunteer digital mentor “Tech Mates” serving the Computer Club, you’ll work alongside its founder, with a group of Digital Literacy Foundation Tech Mates and the Computer Club’s technicians, to provide one-on-one support to residents with tech issues, either in the Computer Club’s well-appointed rooms or in members’ residences.

If you volunteer for the role of roadie you’ll have way more fun than going on the road with Midnight Oil! Our singer piano player has a bad back and needs an assistant to help set up his keyboard. Your help will also be invaluable as you participate in the singing with residents, helping them find the songs in the SingSong book.
