About this opportunity
Homelessness QLD is currently looking for a dedicated individual to support their Management Committee as a secretariat, working alongside the Secretary to provide essential support to the committee and to the organisation. The Management Committee, consisting of 6 members, plays a crucial role in governing, providing strategic direction, and leadership to Homelessness QLD.
About the role:
- Maintaining accurate records of committee meetings
- General administrative tasks including emailing members.
- Support to the CEO as needed.
- Ensuring the smooth functioning of the secretariat's duties
- Proof reading documents and submissions.
Additional requirements
Candidates who are well-suited for this role should possess a strong background in non-profit governance. Furthermore, it is crucial for individuals to exhibit a genuine passion for social justice, equality, and the desire to bring about meaningful change in the lives of individuals facing homelessness.
