Volunteer with us at a Korean Day Centre where there is a focus on socialising, activities and a delicious lunch supplied to suit Korean clients over 65yrs. This Day Centre has been running successfully for many years and provides a wonderful service for older Koreans.

The Ku-ring-gai Chase is a feel-good community fun run around the leafy streets of Wahroonga starting and finishing at Claude Cameron Grove. The event offers a 10km and 5km fun run, a 5km run / walk and a 2km Kids Dash on fully closed roads for all the family and for all abilities. We are currently without a driver & are looking for a committed person to assist at our Rushcutters Bay village - Elizabeth Lodge. You will be required to take a 4hr driver training course with an NRMA approved trainer & have a medical with your GP - both at Anglicare's expense.

A reliable & enthusiastic volunteer driver is required for bus trips for our Residential Care Home located in Jannali.

Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney provides social support for people over 65 years or older. The volunteers form a part of the Community Services team and provide a variety of services for older clients, including transport to appointments, companionship visits or accompanied shopping. We provide services from Chatswood to Berowra so prefer our volunteers to live on the Lower to Upper North Shore of Sydney.

The Sydney Heritage Fleet Workshops in Rozelle Bay is a busy hive of activity. Our main restoration project is steamer John Oxley, and there are many regularly used vessels on which maintenance is essential. Sydney Heritage Fleet owns, restores and operates historic steam ships, sailing ships and many smaller launches. Our current major project is the restoration to full ocean-going condition of John Oxley a former Moreton Bay pilot steamer, 760 tons. You, the volunteer will be a skilled welder and steel fabricator to aid in the final stages of hull restoration, particularly the forecastle. Your team leader is gentle giant whose welding surpasses marine standard for boiler work.

Our Client in Maroubra is seeking someone to enjoy social visits, to catch up for a coffee or a chat or a trip to the beaches. No fitness level required as this is a social visit with the possibility of an outing by car.
