General Event Volunteers - Kurringai Chase Fun Run 16th June 2024

Sport One off - an event Wahroonga NSW

About this opportunity

The Ku-ring-gai Chase to be held on 16th June 2024 is a feel-good community fun run around the leafy streets of Wahroonga starting and finishing at Claude Cameron Grove. The event offers a 10km and 5km fun run, a 5km run / walk and a 2km Kids Dash on fully closed roads for all the family and for all abilities.

The event is the major fundraiser for the Special Olympics Sydney Upper North Shore grassroots programs supporting over 200 athletes and families.

Events like the Special Olympics Kuringgai Chase Fun Run are dependent on volunteers putting up their hand to help. There are several areas that require support. Jobs include course marshalling, registration, water station/baggage tent, handing out medals at the finish line.

We look after our volunteers on the day by shouting a tea or coffee and sausage sandwich.
