Sunday May 19, 2024 A family-friendly, fun-filled morning requires no special skills, experience, or training – just your presence and enthusiasm. Some tasks may include directing and encouraging participants around the course, selling merchandise, and handing out participants' packs. There is even a role for the keen bike riders out there! We need volunteers on the day from 6.45 a.m. to approximately midday in various roles.

We seek a English-speaking volunteer, preferably to visit a senior resident at a facility in Marsfield/Miranda/Peakhurst NSW. Aged Care Visitors volunteer provides FREE social support to seniors community in Sydney. We seek Cantonese speaking visitors volunteers to visit the residents at the aged care - facility in Strathfield. We highly valued our Aged Care Visitors volunteers' team, and your help will significantly reduce the isolation, depression and loneliness.

ACVVS program at Sydney MCS provides FREE social supports for the senior community in Sydney. We seek Mandarin speaking volunteers to visit a senior gentleman at the aged care facilities. We are highly valued our wonderful volunteers and your help will significantly reduce isolation and increase their quality of life.

Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens…..to name a few of the roles we have available.
