Mater Volunteers is seeking a reliable volunteer Patient Transport Drivers. This role enables in need Mater patients and Mater cancer/oncology patients to access health care by providing door to door transport to and/or from their Mater appointments. Free parking for volunteers!

A Carpark attendant is required to assist with directing vehicles within the carpark at our Clinic.

Know you will definitely be making a difference in lives of others with your volunteering. You will be driving a professional person with blindness who is using her skills to train and support other clients who experience low vision and blindness.

You will be driving vehicle to pick up donated goods from the community, deliver goods to customer’s homes, deliver/pickup stock to/from our other Op Shops, take rubbish and unsaleable items to the local tip, load/unload the ute/truck as well as other related tasks.

We currently have volunteer positions available at Kith and Kin Creative Learning Centre on Ingham Road. Our Creative Learning Centre provides the community with a space to come and learn new things, make new friends, show off their skills and have a heap of fun. Road2Work Volunteer Driving Supervisors assist people living with disability and looking for work, to gain their Probationary Licence to increase their employability, enrich their everyday lives and open up their opportunities. Road2Work volunteers will use a Maxima car to assist our customers to add to their required log book hours and helping them achieving this goal.
