Brightwater Sunshine Volunteers provides a one-of-a-kind service that brightens the lives of our clients who reside at home. Through regular and heartfelt phone calls, we combat isolation and bring warmth to their days. If you're eager to make a positive impact, we're thrilled to announce that we are now accepting Expressions of Interest for our Sunshine call volunteer team!

Do you enjoy driving and working with seniors? Would you like to be a part of a great team, supporting people to live independently in the community? If you love to drive, have a current C class drivers’ licence and enjoy a chat, we assist older people to get to medical appointments, go shopping and out to see loved ones, Mon on weekdays. Our drivers are well supported to be responsible for the welfare and comfort of their passengers to their appointment and home.

Our client in Melville/Palmyra would like a visitor who can visit for coffee and chats. Some Auslan skills required (but you don't need to be fluent). This would be a good role for someone who wants experience/practise with Auslan.

Do you love being hands on and working in your shed? Join us at our Men’s Shed and Mate’s Place, located at Western Swan Home Support in Beechboro every Wednesday. Our Men’s Shed is a hub of camaraderie and craftsmanship, where woodworking and renovation projects take shape alongside plenty of good-natured banter.
