Astley Care is looking for drivers to support our clients to attend medical and social appointments. Transport services operate between Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Volunteers are able to nominate their availability throughout the week.

The Japanese Film Festival (JFF) returns to Perth on 14 – 20 October, and is seeking a passionate candidate to join the team as a Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work behind-the-scenes for the JFF and gain valuable professional experience. The Coordinator will be responsible for researching contacts for local promotions, recruiting and managing volunteers, and assisting staff during the film festival Opening Night. This is a semi-volunteer position.

Saturdays 1pm to 4pm in Fremantle. Our group assistants help young people on the Autism Spectrum with various social activities. Activities include arts, crafts, bowling, laser tag and more. This rewarding opportunity would suit those studying community services, social work, psychology etc

Mondays or Fridays 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Spectrum Space runs a social group for kids on the spectrum aged 10 to 18 years. The group runs every Monday or Friday from 4:30pm. This would be a great opportunity for psychology/social work/community service students to gain experience working with children with autism.

Our Cafes give people living with dementia and their support person, the opportunity to connect with others in a welcoming, supportive environment. The Cafe is held in a Dementia Friendly Location in Bibra Lake 10am -12 pm.
