The Historical Society members are the Volunteer custodians and Guides of the Azelia Ley Homestead Museum and Wagonhouse museum, on roster for Sunday opening 1.30-4.30pm, and supervising the Museums for booked tours and school excursions, as they occur (Mon-Wed).

Do you want to do something that is hands on? Assist the Friends of Bennett Brook in bush regeneration activities to help restore Bennett Brook. The Friends of Bennett Brook are working to restore Bennett Brook as a healthy ecosystem for fauna, linking Whiteman Park to the Swan River. Let's join hands in doing some dryland/wetland planting, weeding and rubbish collection.

Would you like to help brighten the day of people with dementia? This would be the perfect position for you to bring some happiness into people's lives, whilst having a chat over a cuppa.

Green thumbs or just wanting to make a difference? If you are interested in making someone's garden a place that they can continue to enjoy, rather than be a burden, why not consider gardening for someone who can no longer maintain their own garden! As little as one day per week can make all the difference in assisting someone to retain their independence. Positions available in Wanneroo and North Perth.

Fancy yourself a bit of a green thumb, or enjoy planting trees? Come along and help us to plant native species in Reserves and Parks within Rockingham! We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all about our environment, while spending the day with like-minded people, working together to create Urban Shade Forests!
