We are looking for a gardener to maintain our beautiful gardens, that our elderly clients enjoy. The gardener will keep the area free of weeds and keep the fountains clean and Cut back any overgrown vegetation. Our gardener will enjoy a free hot lunch and morning tea provided by our chef.

You will assist local experts identify, measure and map endangered plants at the reserve as part of the NSW Government's Saving our Species program.

Do you have a green thumb and a few hours a week to spare? This is the role for you!

If you enjoy working in the outdoors, this is the role for you. You'll assist with mowing, whipper-snipping, hand weeding, spraying, mulching and planting. All PPE and equipment (self-propelled mowers, whipper-snippers etc) provided. All chemical use is under strictly controlled conditions. No previous gardening/groundsperson experience required, but would be useful.

Duties may include tidy up of our gardens, pruning, site rubbish pickup, minor repair or maintenance, changing light globes. BBQ checks. pressure washing paths. re-arranging storerooms, painting and lubricating door locks. If you feel this is a good match for you, we'd like to hear from you.

The Friends of the Albury Botanic Gardens Inc., was established to promote enjoyment and interest in the Albury Botanic Gardens, by conducting activities for the benefit of its’ members and the public, in conjunction with the AlburyCity. Our aims are to increase community awareness of the recreational, educational and conservation functions of the Gardens and help raise funds to enhance the continuing development of our great community asset.

Community garden participant (Vegetable/fruit garden) to be involved in garden maintenance - watering/weeding/planting. May be part of a team depending on when other gardeners take part, flexible hours.
