Gardener - Community Garden
About this opportunity
Community garden participant (Vegetable/fruit garden) to be involved in garden maintenance - watering/weeding/planting. May be part of a team depending on when other gardeners take part, flexible hours. Required to be registered as a Volunteer at Albury City, have a current Police Check and Working with Children Check. Equipment needed will be - closed in comfortable shoes, gardening gloves (provided by Glenecho), gardening tools (provided by Glenecho), mask (provided by Glenecho), SunSmart clothing and Sunscreen (provided by Glenecho), comfortable gardening clothes.
Volunteer wanted to support, develop, maintain and monitor vegetable garden. General tasks will include planting produce, weeding, picking the produce, displaying produce on a food share table, having produce ready for food relief collection days.
