Do you like boats and sailing? This role involves collecting a 3.5M poly boat on a purpose-built aluminium trailer with an electric start 4-stroke motor and towing it 500 meters to a public boat ramp. Launch the boat with the help of club members, drive the boat out onto Throsby Creek and lay markers to create a sailing course. Return to shore and be on standby to collect distressed model boats if required. When racing has concluded, collect the buoys & return the boat to its original location.

The monthly planting day is held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. You'll join this dedicated team who use these days to expand the revegetation of natural bushland across currently cleared areas. No experience necessary. Over the past 25 years, this program has led to the creation of a National Park!

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to assist at our toy library during our Saturday morning sessions. Duties include checking and cleaning returned toys and counting pieces if needed, organising shelves and displays, labelling new toys and setting up and packing away before and after sessions. The Role involves welcoming members and volunteers attending the toy library, assisting members with questions, providing guidance in finding suitable toys and assisting with new members.

As needed support is provided by a Care Manager. Carer responsibility is customised to suit the ability and interest of the volunteer carer. We are looking for a motivated person to assist in the cleaning of the Visitor Centre. This is a most important role as entry to our site is via the Visitor Centre so first impressions are most important to us. The duties include cleaning, vacuuming, rubbish disposal, attending to toilets and other weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as required. A cleaner is required on weekdays on Monday, Wednesday or Friday for half a day or Saturday afternoon or Sunday mornings for approximately 2 hours.

Your ability to work in a team and physical fitness will be highly regarded in this role. You'll be working alongside the Truck Driver, loading and unloading of bulky (and sometimes heavy) items and assisting with deliveries and pickups. You may also provide assistance with rearranging bulky items around the warehouse. Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential. National Criminal and Working with Children Checks and current drivers licence (at least Class C) are required.

Make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by assisting in the delivery of planned activity programs. Assist the current Activities Team with recreational activities and socialisation activities for residents. This may include assisting with setting up activities, activity participation and guidance. Your enthusiastic nature and ability to engage with our residents will be highly regarded.

Spend time with an elderly person who would like a social visitor at our residential aged care home. You'll love this volunteer opportunity to chat, provide companionship and reduce their sense of isolation. The commitment is for a minimum of one hour per week for 12 months or longer.
