Calling all "kids at heart"! The Newcastle and Hunter Toy Library is seeking a regular volunteer to assist with the running of the Toy Library sessions on Saturday mornings. The Toy Library is a terrific service based at New Lambton Library and run entirely by volunteers.

Attending court can be challenging and distressing, especially if it is your first time. CRC’s trained volunteers provide information on court processes, where to seek advice, and emotional support to people attending local courts across NSW. Legal advice is not provided in this role.

Our orgnaisations Sayer 45, is out on the water 4 days per week during school term, running up to 6 programs every week. A maintenance coordinator is required to assist with maintenance jobs on the vessel and coordinate big jobs. Maintenance jobs could be booking the vessel into the boatyard for an antifoul, ordering parts (as authorised), checking fuel levels, replacing a broken latch, checking stauntions for splits, washing the deck, organising working bees and tidying the shed.

Our orgnaistion has in excess of 40 local volunteers and our boat is out on the water 4 days per week during school term running up to 6 programs every week. We are seeking a Volunteer Crew Coordinator to ensure we have enough crew with experience on each program sail. Your customer service, IT skills and previous experience with youth will be advantageous for this role.

Your gardening experience, or your willingness to learn new gardening skills, will be greatly appreciated in this role. You'll be working outdoors in a beautiful setting: planting, weeding, pruning and mulching as well as other garden related activities. Days and hours are negotiable to suit your schedule. The role requires a current Criminal Record Check and would prefer a current Working with Children Check.
