We're looking for a kind, caring and supportive friend for some of our Italian residents at our Wattle Grove Community in Lalor. Whether you love to read the paper, sing & enjoy music or having a cuppa and a chat our residents would love to spend time with you. We're hoping you can be the gentle supporting hand to assist our residents to become more involved in day-to-day life at the home. We love nothing more than hearing the beautiful Italian language from our volunteers and our residents.

Banyule Council supports a thriving arts and cultural scene for which their city is renowned. They create inspiring, relevant and entertaining arts experiences for all, collaborating with the Banyule community, including volunteers, to promote the value of arts and culture, and enrich the city. There are a variety of volunteer roles for people who have an interest in Arts and Culture and who are friendly and welcoming.

As part of our digitisation process, we have 6000 CD that need to be scanned and uploaded to our AWS cloud storage. this a part of our plan to have all music we have in the Museum available to people all over the world via our Website.

VMCH is currently welcoming volunteers to engage with residents in aged care, who have personalised activities which has been tailored to meet their individual interests, cultural background, and physical abilities, you would provide conversation and assistance to create a wonderful interlude which can enhance a resident's day.

We are looking for individuals and groups who would be prepared to be part of a roster of entertainers for our Southaven and/or Brindabilla Day Centres. If you can entertain in any way, shape or form we want to hear from you! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with the ability to play an instrument such as, (guitar, ukulele, keyboard, violin etc.) and/or sing on a regular basis to older community members as part of our Social Connections Program.

Volunteers will support participants with intellectual and physical disabilities. You will support participants and staff with a range of activities throughout the day including arts and crafts, carpentry, swimming, literacy, computer skills, sports, gym, exercising, dancing, basketball, yoga, walking, theatre group, choir, money skills, using public transport, gardening, cooking, barbecues, bowling, fishing and mentoring and many others.
