Hobart City Mission's Sorting Warehouse is the engine room for our Retail Op shops. Donated electrical items are sorted and sent out to stores for people to purchase, instead of sending them to landfill! Sold donations raise money to support Hobart's vulnerable community experiencing crisis.

Would you like to volunteer some of your time to a worthy cause, but are unable to commit on a regular basis or for a long time? Are you looking to ‘give back to the community’ as part of your regular/paid employment or maybe you are a student needing to complete community service? Then this may be a volunteer position for you!

The Eastside Repair Café launched recently on Hobart’s sunny eastern shore, and is held on the last Saturday of each month. We'd love a registered/certified electrician to volunteer a few hours once a month to help us out! Don't throw it, repair it!
