Help us at our World Environment Volunteer event where we'll be planting native plants to encourage native wildlife and create a buffer zone along the foreshore. All welcome, morning tea and all training and tools provided.

Join us for a Sunday morning out at Prince of Wales Bay, where we'll be working to remove a significant weed (Boxthorn) along the foreshore. All participants over the age of 16 welcome. The Tasmanian Sail Training Association is seeking new volunteer members to learn tall ship sailing on Tasmania’s iconic waterways.

The Lady Nelson needs cooks to prepare food on everything from day sails through to multiday voyages.

NOTE: School Tour Guides MUST have well developed English speaking skills. The School Tour Guide will use a range of well-developed guiding skills combined with a substantial depth of subject matter knowledge to deliver house tours. You will work with some independence and under limited supervision using discretion and judgement to resolve problems.

Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens…..to name a few of the roles we have available.
