Child and Family Service on the Gold Coast, Early Years Centre provides educational and social support to families and their children. Heart Foundation Walking is seeking volunteers to start and lead walking groups in their neighbourhood. Walk Organisers need no prior experience and will receive full training and support from the Heart Foundation.

Approved volunteers agree to provide mentoring and friendship to a young person between the ages of 7 and 17. They commit to spending quality time with a carefully selected young person from a vulnerable or disadvantaged background for approximately 2 hours per fortnight for a period of 12 months. You will not be sitting in an office all day but going out to meet mentees.
